Cirk La Putyka is an ensemble dedicated to contemporary circus. They transcend the lines between acrobatics, contemporary dance, puppetry, concert and sport, striving to create their own specific theatre poetics and find a perspective on the genre as a whole. For Cirk La Putyka, the theme, the story and the message are as important as the professional approach to both – individual theatre genres and circus disciplines.

The company was established in 2009 by the artistic director Rostislav Novák and the managing director Vít Novák. The ensemble has twenty members including actors, musicians, acrobats, puppeteers and dancers; all members are top professionals in their chosen discipline but they are also able to cross the line into several other areas of work to create a strong unity in their works.
