About International Performing Arts Management

IPAM — International Performing Arts Management — is an Istanbul-based performing arts programming and project development platform working across Türkiye and international contexts.

Founded and led by Leman Yılmaz, IPAM brings together extensive experience in festival programming, international production, cultural management, dramaturgy, and academic practice. It develops, programs, and connects performing arts projects with festivals, venues, cultural institutions, artists, and audiences.

IPAM works at the intersection of artistic programming, international collaboration, and cultural strategy. Its focus includes theatre, dance, contemporary circus, performance, interdisciplinary stage works, music and projects that create meaningful dialogue between local and international cultural scenes.

Through its international network, IPAM presents selected productions and artists to institutions in Türkiye and abroad. In collaboration with international companies, artists and agencies, IPAM can facilitate the programming of a curated selection of international productions for festivals, venues, and cultural organizations in Türkiye.

Alongside international programming, IPAM develops and supports projects that respond to the evolving cultural landscape in Türkiye. Its work includes project conception, artistic programming, institutional collaboration, production planning, communication strategy, and audience development.

IPAM’s approach is shaped by Leman Yılmaz’s long-standing engagement with contemporary performing arts as a curator, festival director, producer, academic, and cultural strategist. The platform aims to create sustainable connections between artists, institutions, and audiences, while supporting projects that are artistically rigorous, internationally connected, and contextually meaningful.

IPAM operates as a professional meeting point for performing arts production, cultural strategy, and critical practice.
