One of the United Kingdom’s leading dance theatre companies, Jasmin Vardimon Company, returned to Istanbul with NOW, a landmark production created to celebrate the company’s 25th anniversary. Presented on 27–28 March 2026 at the Lütfi Kırdar Congress Center, the performance offered audiences a powerful theatrical journey through twenty-five years of artistic creation.
Blending movement, visual imagery and narrative, NOW reflects the distinctive choreographic language that has established Jasmin Vardimon as one of the most influential voices in contemporary dance theatre.
Founded in 1998, the company is internationally recognised for its visually striking productions, where physical virtuosity meets cinematic storytelling, theatrical invention, humour and social reflection. Its unique artistic language combines dance, physical theatre and visual composition into immersive stage experiences that challenge and engage audiences.

About the Company
For more than twenty-five years, Jasmin Vardimon Company has been at the forefront of contemporary dance theatre in the United Kingdom and internationally. Renowned for its visually rich productions and innovative choreographic language, the company continues to explore themes that resonate with contemporary society while pushing the boundaries of physical performance.
Its creative home, JV H.O.M.E. in Ashford, serves as a centre for artistic research, creation and interdisciplinary education, supporting emerging artists and fostering innovation within the performing arts.
Since 2006, Jasmin Vardimon has been an Associate Artist of Sadler’s Wells, one of the world’s leading institutions for dance. She has received numerous awards throughout her career, including an Honorary Doctorate from Royal Holloway, University of London in 2014.

Over the past twenty-five years, Jasmin Vardimon Company has created 18 original productions, completed 50 national and 25 international tours, and established a highly regarded education programme that has supported more than 200 graduates since 2012.

Created to celebrate the company’s twenty-fifth anniversary, NOW revisits iconic moments from Jasmin Vardimon Company’s repertoire while simultaneously looking towards the future. Rather than presenting a retrospective, the production creates a fluid dialogue between memory, the present and what lies ahead.
Exploring the idea that the present moment is constantly evolving, NOW constructs a theatrical universe that is dynamic, fragile and ever-changing. Combining cinematic physicality with powerful visual imagery and contemporary storytelling, the work embodies the distinctive artistic vision that has defined Jasmin Vardimon Company for over two decades.
